Thursday’s Cubs-Marlins game is postponed to twin bill on Saturday

Thursday’s Cubs-Marlins game, which was postponed to twin bill on Saturday, originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

Thursday’s game at Wrigley Field between the Cubs and Marlins has been postponed due to bad weather, the team announced.

The game will turn into a doubleheader on Saturday, with the make-up game played after the originally scheduled 1:20 PM (CT) game. The second game starts at 6:40 PM (CT).

Separate tickets are required for each game. The gates will open 60 minutes before the start of the second match, once fans of the first match have left the stadium.

The Cubs currently have an 11-7 record, good for second in the NL Central and 0.5 games behind the Brewers.
