Trump seems angry that Kamala Harris is sitting at the table with Fox News

Former President Donald Trump attacked Fox News in a series of posts on his Truth Social platform on Monday, after the conservative network announced it will host an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris later this week.

Fox News’ Bret Baier said he will tape an interview with Harris on Wednesday in the key battleground of Pennsylvania, as the vice president has sought to expand her reach among voters in the latter part of the campaign.

Trump claimed Harris was right to choose Baier to question her, describing the host as “often very soft on those on the ‘cocktail circuit’ left.”

“I would have preferred to see a journalist who pushed harder, but Fox has become so soft and soft on Democrats and continually pollutes the airwaves with unopposed Kamala representatives that none of it matters anymore,” Trump said.

Trump continued to rail against the network’s move to include dissenting voices on the air, including Ian Sams, a senior spokesperson for the Harris campaign, who claimed that “it has a very negative effect on the election.”

“Think about it: I spend an hour with the wonderful Maria Bartiromo, doing beautiful work, and then am followed all day by one-sided, negative Democrats, including Ian Sams, who actually owns the Network,” he wrote. “It’s not worth doing Interviews on Fox because it all just turns out to be NOTHING. FoxNews has completely lost its way!”

Trump was widely criticized for telling Bartiromo that he would order the US military to attack his perceived enemies if he won re-election. The host of “Sunday Morning Features” did not go back on his threat.

In a later post on Truth Social, Trump singled out host Neil Cavuto, who interviewed Sams on Monday, adding that he has “the worst shows on television — and the worst rated” on the network.

Sams called out Trump for skipping interviews with the mainstream press last month.

“We have to ask ourselves why,” Sams told Cavuto.

Trump canceled a planned interview with CBS’s ’60 Minutes’ earlier this month, and also withdrew from a planned appearance on CNBC’s ‘Squawk Box,’ one of the show’s hosts announced on air Tuesday.

Yet Trump has continued to perform in friendlier environments. In addition to a conversation with Bartiromo, the Republican presidential candidate will also tape a town hall with Fox News’ Harris Faulkner in Georgia on Tuesday, with an all-female audience focused on issues affecting women in this election, which will air at 11 a.m. ET. the next day.

Aside from her Fox News appearance, Harris is also reportedly considering an interview with the right-wing podcast “Joe Rogan Experience” in an effort to woo young male voters.
