Tyreek Hill is confident his speed is comparable to that of an Olympic champion.

The Miami Dolphins receiver has long been known as one of the fastest players in the NFL. But after hearing American sprinter Noah Lyles say that NFL players shouldn’t be considered world champions of the sport, Hill made it clear how he feels about his abilities.

“I would beat Noah Lyles [in a race]”, Hill said during an interview on the “Up and Adams Show.” “I wouldn’t beat him by much, but I would beat Noah Lyles.”

Despite being known as an NFL star, Hill also has experience in track and field during high school and college. He ran a 100-meter race in 9.98 seconds in junior college and also won a bronze medal in the 200 meters at the 2012 World Junior Championships.

Lyles, who won gold in the men’s 100 meters with a personal best of 9.784 at the Olympics last week in Paris, has also commented on the fact that the NBA champion is not the best in the world.

Both athletes don’t shy away from being in the news, so a potential race between the two would definitely be a must-see on TV.
