A United States Postal Service mail carrier was injured in a two-car crash in Beverly Hills on Friday.
According to Beverly Hills police, the accident happened just after 11 a.m. near Foothill Boulevard and Burton Way.
Firefighters from the Beverly Hills Fire Department had to remove the windshield of the mail truck to free the mailman, who was trapped in the truck after the force of the impact caused it to flip onto its side.
The worker was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. They have not yet been identified.
According to the fire department, all mail has been packed and loaded into another vehicle for delivery.
No information is available about the cause of the collision or whether the other driver was injured.
