Why are investors excited about Trump’s upcoming term?

President-elect Donald Trump returned to his hometown of New York City on Thursday to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. Investors on Wall Street appear to have embraced the new administration, as all three major indexes have reached record highs since Election Day.
