Phoenix police have arrested a woman wanted in connection with stealing an Amazon van.

Officers received a report around 4 p.m. on Saturday that someone had robbed the truck. They checked neighborhoods and found it near 89th Avenue and McDowell Road.

They tried to stop the truck, but the driver refused and ran away. Although no pursuit occurred, they caught up with her when she stopped and ran from the truck near westbound Interstate 10 and 91st Avenue.

They took the woman, 31-year-old Salina Marie Duran, into custody.

Duran was listed as an inmate on the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office website Sunday afternoon. Her bail was set at more than $50,000, and her next court appearance was scheduled for December 27.

Possible charges included theft and unlawful flight from law enforcement officers.
