Nov. 22 – A woman who read an article about a drug ring busted wide open called Kalispell police and said she thought authorities had missed some perpetrators, including her ex-husband. How did she come to that conclusion? Her intuition, she told officers. But after thinking about it for a moment, she decided he probably wasn’t involved.

A thief reportedly made off with approximately $550 worth of goods left in a vehicle overnight.

Officers checked a building after employees of an alarm company reported that a person was entering a fenced area. They only found a construction worker, who explained that he was there to do some construction work.

The owner of a truck believed he had been targeted by miscreants after vandals hit his vehicle for the third time.

After being spat at by a stranger while walking her dog at the Flathead County Fairgrounds, a woman called police to find out if she could be on the property with her dog. She said she walks her pet there regularly without incident.

Officers walked past a 70-year-old man who was reportedly hanging out in a business with a walker and asking for money.

A disagreement between a taxi driver and a passenger resulted in an argument that eventually came to a head. However, neither wanted to press charges. Officers advised to keep their distance.

Someone claiming to own property in the city told officers he heard from security that a crackhead was hanging around.

A passerby told officers they had seen a suspected drunk driver. Authorities met with the motorist, who showed no signs of impairment.

A caller said they saw a person they thought they recognized as wanted for child molestation, but they couldn’t remember the name. But they did remember that the person suspected of the abuse may have been from Hungry Horse. Anyway, he was with a woman who the caller suspected was on drugs. The proof? The caller could ‘see through her soul’. Officers determined there was not enough information to investigate the couple.

Authorities have barred a man from entering a big box store after he allegedly confronted security personnel and threatened them.

A resident said a group of people who drove by his property and threw things on it harassed him because he once called them out for smoking marijuana on the basketball court. He said the harassment had already resulted in his vehicle being damaged. Officers agreed to conduct additional patrols in the area.
