World Chess Record Set in Times Square – CBS New York
A Nigerian chess champion set a record in Times Square on Friday. Tunde Onakoya is now the world record holder for the longest chess marathon, playing over 58 hours. The previous record was 56 hours, nine minutes and 37 seconds. Onakoya hopes the event will raise $1 million for the education of children across Africa.
