A man pleaded guilty to several charges, including aggravated assault and hit and run.
On Monday, 66-year-old James Ray Watkins pleaded guilty in Haralson County Georgia Superior Court to charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and hit and run.

The Haralson County Sheriff’s Office said Watkins’ conviction stems from a road rage incident on US Highway 27 near Walmart on May 18, 2023.
According to HCSO, Watkins and the victim got into an argument during the incident.

Watkins then used his car to hit the victim, causing serious injuries.
The court sentenced Watkins to twenty years, with the first ten years in confinement.
