An Israeli attack in the northern Gaza Strip killed at least nine Palestinians and injured several others, according to Palestinian media.
According to the report by news agency WAFA, houses in Gaza City were hit by an airstrike on Thursday evening.
Hamas-controlled civil defense officials said at least 13 people were killed and about 40 were injured.
The Israeli military said it would investigate the report.
