An investigation is underway after a body washed up near Point Mugu in Ventura County.
According to the Ventura County Fire Department, a beachgoer called 911 after seeing a body floating in the water near the 900 block of Pacific Coast Highway, near Mondo’s Beach and Rincon Beach, around 4:10 p.m.
At this time, investigators have not revealed the age or gender of the person, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
