Convicted felon arrested for fatal shooting at Buchkead gas station

Atlanta police say they have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting at a gas station in Buckhead on Thursday morning.

Channel 2 Action News reported Thursday morning that the APD was investigating a shooting at a Chevron gas station on Morosgo Drive in Buckhead after a man was found dead.

The preliminary investigation and information from witnesses on the scene who Channel 2’s Steve Gehlbach, said the victim was shot after getting into a fight with a security guard at the gas station.

On Friday afternoon, police reported that 34-year-old Antonio Dean has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting.

The victim has not yet been identified by Atlanta police.

Dean was charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.
