We are just a week away from the end of all the projections, rumors and lies. The design is almost there. We wrapped up our “Draft Deep Dive” series with Yahoo’s draft guru Charles McDonald by looking at the top TE and OL prospects in this year’s draft.
Of course, there’s nowhere else to start other than looking at Georgia TE Brock Bowers and what impact he could make right away in the NFL. McDonald and Harmon dive into what makes him a unique talent at the TE position and worthy of being in the top ten.
McDonald, a Georgia fan, summarizes his illustrious career in Athens and which team fits in could get the most out of him at the next level. Harmon wonders if some teams don’t know how to use him and if that could lead to him falling out of the top ten of the draft.
The duo then looks at day two TEs who could develop into starters in the NFL. After the break, Harmon and McDonald take a look at Nate Tice’s top ten OL prospects and break down what makes them a first-round talent. Harmon and McDonald agree that the OL position may be the biggest top talent of any position this year.
