A Campbell County attorney has been indicted after being accused of stealing from the estates of two deceased women.

Jennifer Zaccheus-Miller, 40, has been charged with two felony counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition of more than $10,000 but less than $1 million, the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office announced Friday.

A Campbell County grand jury indicted Zaccheus-Miller on Thursday, according to the attorney general’s office.

Zaccheus-Miller, who is from the California community, is scheduled to appear in court in Campbell on July 30, court records show.

According to the association’s website, she was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 2018.

Cincinnati television station WXIX reported in May that Zaccheus-Miller was reported missing after failing to appear in court. However, she was later found by Kentucky State Police near Red River Gorge in Powell County and arrested.

According to television station WLWT, in one case Zaccheus-Miller acted as executor of an estate and allegedly took $26,000 to which she was not entitled.
