A man died from his injuries following a shooting in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District on Wednesday evening, police said.
San Francisco police said the shooting was reported near Ellis and Jones streets on Wednesday shortly after 6 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man on the ground who had been shot, police said.
Officers began life-saving measures before paramedics arrived, police said, and the victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The unknown victim later died in hospital.

No other details were available and there was no information on a suspect.
