A Caltrain struck a vehicle on tracks in the unincorporated community of San Martin in Santa Clara County on Monday evening, a SamTrans spokesperson said.
Caltrain is currently responding to the emergency on the tracks near the San Martin station.
According to the agency, around 6:30 p.m., a vehicle was on the tracks for unknown reasons when the southbound train 410 approached and a collision occurred. Emergency services were still on scene at 7.40pm
According to SamTrans, there was one person in the car who was taken for medical care.
According to SamTrans, there were an estimated 25 passengers on board with no reported injuries. Crews are working to get the train moved to Gilroy.
