Police ask for tips to identify shoplifting suspect

Crime Alert Berks County, a citizen-run crime prevention organization, is offering cash rewards of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides tips leading to an arrest in this case or any other case or crime.

Tipsters with crime information can call 877-373-9913 at any time or contact Crime Alert through the website www.alertberks.org or through the AlertBerks smartphone app. No one will ask for the name of the caller, who will be assigned a code number.

Unsolved cases are regularly highlighted in the Sunday Reading Eagle.

Crime: Shoplifting

Dates: July 23 and July 25

Location: Giant and Target stores in Exeter Commons, Exeter Township

Police Summary: Exeter Police are asking for assistance in identifying the man involved in shoplifting incidents at the Target and Giant stores in the township on July 23 and 25, respectively. In both incidents, the suspect stole multiple cases of energy drinks, resulting in a total loss of more than $600. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Alert or Exeter Officer Scott at 610-655-4911 and reference case #25-24-10878 & #25-24-11030.
