Cities with the best weather include NJ, Del. and Pa.

You might not think so, given the prolonged heat wave that gripped much of the country this summer, but the Mid-Atlantic region has some of the best seasons and generally mildest weather in the country, according to a recent study from WalletHub.

While they can’t compete with the traditionally mild weather of Arizona and California, New Jersey and New York both have cities that make WalletHub’s list.

Toms River, Trenton and Wilmington are on the list for mild weather

Average temperatures, best weather conditions and amount of snowfall were some of the factors WalletHub used to examine 600 cities in its “Cities with the Best and Worst Weather” findings.

Toms River ranks 47th on WalletHub’s list of cities with the mildest temperatures.

Trenton ranks 51st, Paterson ranks 56th, and Jersey City and Union City are tied for 65th.

Clifton and Passaic also tied for 67th in the standings.

Camden was ranked 95th, with Elizabeth and Newark also tied for 97th.

In Delaware, Bear, Middletown, Newark and Wilmington tied for 63rd place in WalletHub’s “Mild Weather Overall” rankings.

Upstate New York has mild cities

Schenectady, New York, ranks 47th on WalletHub’s list, followed by New York City, which ranks 65th.

Albany was ranked 91st, and Mount Vernon, New Rochelle and Yonkers were ranked 96th on WallutHub’s list.

Rochester was ranked 99th, while Buffalo, Canton and Cheektowaga tied for 99th.

Syracuse ranks 100th on WalletHub’s list.

Pennsylvania Cities Top WalletHub’s ‘Mild Weather Overall’ List

Allentown ranks 52nd on WalletHub’s “Mild Weather Overall” list, followed by Reading at 61st and Philadelphia at 62nd.

Bethlehem was ranked 76th, Scranton was ranked 85th, Pittsburgh was ranked 87th and Erie was ranked 91st.
