PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Wednesday’s rain is mostly gone, but some chances of light drizzle remain Thursday, especially early in the day – with low clouds and fog also reducing road visibility.
A few showers may develop in the first half of Thursday and could quickly sizzle. The chance of a shower is about 20%.
Furthermore, it is just a gloomy and humid April day with a lot of clouds early, although we do dry up by the afternoon.
We may also see some breaks in cloud cover in the afternoon, especially in the south and west of our region – areas like Millville, New Jersey or perhaps Wilmington and Dover, Delaware.
The places where there is some sunshine will have high temperatures closer to or above 60 degrees, while the places under cloud cover – like Allentown and Atlantic City – should stay in the 50s.
Friday will probably start sunny, making the day warmer than Thursday. Clouds will increase on Friday afternoon, with a chance of more showers in the late afternoon until the evening.
This rain shower could possibly last until Saturday morning as a front clears the area.
If you wake up on Saturday morning and it’s raining and gloomy, just wait and see; By midday it should clear and there should be a spell of sunshine for your early Saturday afternoon.
Then we’ll be back to the 70s early next week.
